A day's worth of working in Codex, and I got myself a little iOS 26 app that takes HDR screenshots from Windows 11, normalizes them to HEIC sRGB, and lets me share them.It even uses the Files APIs to persistently bookmark a location in the Files app and auto-ingests images (uploaded using iCloud for Windows).Unrelated: Pragmata 😍
🧩 This week on @appstories: filling the app gap with some recommendations for each other.🛠️ In the post-show: the custom tools we built for ourselves.Episode out tomorrow, or available today (and ad-free) for AppStories+ subscribers.🎧 https://www.macstories.net/podcasts/appstories-plus/482/
If you, like me, are increasingly using Codex instead of Claude Code, you should check out the Remodex remote client for iOS.Based on official Codex App Server, does not look like a Terminal, and closest we can get to a Codex mobile app right now. It's very good.(And made in Italy 🇮🇹)https://www.macstories.net/reviews/remodex-codex-remote-mobile-app-ios/
I am biased but @tinystartapp by @nileane truly is incredibly good – just the right amount of features (Raycast does too much now) and it's fast.Highly recommended if you want a better launcher than Spotlight with none of the bloat of alternatives: https://tinystart.app/
