Hello, Four years ago I built a small webapp. This webapp has a frontend using Joomla and the main webapp is build with Symfony (started with 3.4, currently with 6.4). It's not a successful business, but at least it pays himself and some of my hobbies. :) The problem is that a month ago or so I upgraded the server to PHP 8.2... And the Joomla based...
There is a package I, and it has around 1k stars on github, but has been mostly abandoned since the owner is not answering or merging PRs. What would be the best practical and legal way to fork this package and create my own out of it, that would be maintained without taking any credits away from the original owner? The repository has an MIT license....
