A first look at Inoreader on iPhone Duo

A new way to read deserves a layout that makes the most of it. We’ve already adapted Inoreader for the upcoming iPhone Duo, and today we’re sharing a sneak peek at how your feeds and articles will look across its two screens.

From a familiar mobile experience when folded to a roomier reading layout when unfolded, Inoreader automatically adapts to the way you’re using the device.

Folded: Your familiar Inoreader

When the iPhone Duo is folded, Inoreader follows the mobile phone design you already know. Browse your feeds, catch up on the latest articles, and enjoy a compact reading layout built for everyday use.

Unfolded: More room to explore

Unfold the device, and Inoreader automatically switches to an optimized version of our iPad layout, giving your content more room while keeping navigation close at hand.

We’ve refined the interface for Duo’s more compact dimensions, making browsing and reading feel natural on a screen smaller than an iPad’s.

The expanded layout also adapts when you rotate the device, with distinct arrangements for landscape and portrait. Whether you’re browsing your sources or settling into a longer read, Inoreader makes the most of the available space.

Built for multitasking

Inoreader also supports split-screen mode, just like on iPad. When sharing the screen with another app, it switches back to a compact mobile layout, so you can keep reading with everything within easy reach.

A sneak peek at what’s coming

This is an early preview. We’ll continue testing and refining the design once we have the device in hand, so some details may change.

iPhone Duo support isn’t available in the current App Store version yet. We’re aiming to ship the update before the device goes on sale, but the timing depends on Apple releasing a non-beta version of Xcode 27.1, as beta toolchains can’t be used to submit App Store builds.

We’re excited to bring Inoreader to this new format and will share more when the update is ready. Stay tuned!
