We are removing the fence & putting up a shed (see 3rd photo). Unfortunately the current concrete pad is ~14” too narrow, so we plan on extending the concrete pad out ~20-26”. We have this sump pump and pit in the basement, the pit and pump access was exposed inside a closet like structure. The basement has a mild musty smell and I’m almost certain it’s because the sump pit is not covered. Sure it’s inside the closet, but the inside of the closet is exposed to the cavity above the drop in ceiling and generally speaking...
