The findings from a new McKinsey & Co. study suggest a big complication lays ahead on the path toward an electrified future. Nearly half of EV owners are likely to return to internal combustion engine vehicles.

Ineos Automotive CEO Lynn Calder told the Automotive News Europe Congress in Frankfurt that she believes that the automotive industry should rely on a range of technologies instead of focusing only in electrification.

CEO Carlos Tavares said Stellantis would stick to its "asset light" strategy in China, mainly focused on exporting to the country rather than manufacturing there.  

A New England dealership group shares its used cars among its stores and can deploy employees to shuttle them to potential buyers at stores within its network.

"We think the news takes a potentially disastrous scenario off the table, in which Musk could have potentially left Tesla and opted to dedicate more time to his other (non-public) companies," CFRA Research said.
