I’m renovating my kitchen and pulled out some old cabinets. There is now a 1/16” depth difference between where the cabinet was and the visible wall. It appears there were a few layers of wallpaper and many coats of paint over the last 70 years. I’m going to be refinishing this wall (filling joints with hot mud, sanding, priming etc) and I’m wondering...

Hello! I want to have a swing in our living room too be enjoyed by kids and adults. I grew up with someone like this back in the day and want to create the memories for our little ones. But I didn't know if this is safe. I spoke with a general contractor and he said the support beam can hold the swing ( he didn't ask for the item weight or anything)....
One of those projects that you think of after you are already committed to " no TV above the fireplace" and you notice some unused space behind some cabinets. Hidden 65" TV behind wet bar.
