I am going to tackle this project. I have always bought premade stringers and adjusted for height on first/last step in the past -- I have never seen a hand made stringer with 2x6 supports. And while it makes sense to me why they did it (probably money savings), I don't see any advantage to this? The good: The single support (treated) and the beam...

I manage to make my first chair. Basic tools were used and spare wood that I had in my garage. Due to this some cuts are not the best. You can see the gaps. I think a table should be next as it will complete de set. The chair is for an one and 1/2 old. It's 18cm high and surprisingly it holds a 90 kg person. Test it myself. submitted by /u/BeL_IbLIs_G...
Had some new floor put in before I moved in and they left some grout on my porch stone. I’ve tried a pressure washer and it’s slightly better but it didn’t get off the faded look. Next step would be to sand but I have a feeling that’s gonna make my rocks look really weird. I guess I could try some polish or something. Just need ideas submitted...
Need to drill three holes through this wok ring, and currently the only tool I have for the job is this RYOBI drill and a basic set of drill bits I tried it out to see how far I could make it and made…some progress, but it’s definitely slow going.
