Can I share translated articles?
You can share an article you've translated, but your teammates see the original text. A translation is your personal version of the article, and a channel shows each member their own version.
What teammates see
Sharing stores the article, the channels you picked and your note. No translated text goes with it, so a teammate who opens the shared article gets the original, or their own translation if they made one. Posts to Slack or Microsoft Teams use the original article too. Your note is posted as you typed it, so write it in the language the channel reads. The other channel members are notified in the app and by push whatever the language, as How do I share an article with my Team? describes.
Translate on the reader's side
A teammate who wants the article in their language opens it and clicks Translate article in its button row, or presses Q. The bar above the text names the source language and has See original to switch back, as How do I translate an article? shows step by step. To translate a Team folder's new articles as they arrive, add a rule with the action Translate article. It translates them for the rule's owner, 100 articles a day per person and 1,000 on Team Intelligence plans.
Plans
Sharing comes with the Team and Team Intelligence plans. Every Team member has Pro, so translations have no daily limit and are kept as the member's own version of the article. What are article translations? explains the feature, the video shows it, and the feature page Share one set of sources with your whole team covers the Team features.
